CUSTOM MADE TERRAIN.

There are lots of companies offering various pieces of ‘off the shelf’ terrain made from a number of different materials and they are very good but they all have the same thing in common — the model the customer gets is identical to many others.

Our terrain, on the other hand, is made to your specification — size, detail, colour, materials, etc. are all in your hands. In other words, every single feature of your building can be selected right down to window frame style and what your door knobs look like!

We will build it to any scale. We can tackle the smallest and largest jobs. We can produce terrain from Ancient times through all of history into fantasy and science fiction including the complete Warhammer system. Finally, we take orders from anyone who wants what is arguably the best terrain for wargames to railway modellers, from ad agencies to film production companies, or even as an unusual gift or souvenir.

All our buildings are hand made to order and we use a variety of materials depending on the needs of the customer and the effects we are trying to achieve. These include: Foam board, wood, brass, plastic card and strips, resin for casting repeated detail, modelling clay and of course acrylic paints. We also use other materials that can add to a model’s character as required such as plumbing material and parts from plastic kits.

As you can see from the huge variety of materials we use and the details we can achieve, these models are sturdy and more flexible than cast buildings but they are NOT toys.

Inspiration for these models can come from many sources (have a look at our ever expanding gallery as one source). When you contact us we will need to ask a few questions so we can produce just what you want. If possible a picture with an idea of scale would be ideal. You may have a plan of the building or a description or just a vague idea. Anything will do to ensure we have a clear picture of your requirements before we begin work. We also have an extensive range of reference books and articles to assist us with period accuracy and detail.

Obviously, fantasy and science fiction models  offer a different challenge but it is only limited by your (and our) imagination.
